Other companies who sell glitter tattoo kits might simply outsource their products from a manufacturer. Their choices of ingredients, designs, colors, safety and quality are typically based on the manufacturer's recommendations.

At GlitZGlam we do things a little different: In addition to marketing our products on the web, we operate kiosks at shopping malls. Each location features a glitter tattoo station where children, teenagers and adults can relax and get a beautiful tattoo on the spot. We provide hundreds of people with glitter tattoos every single day, 7 days a week and most locations are open from 10 AM to 9 PM.

In the process of applying so many tattoos, we are constantly learning how to make things better, how to improve the designs, which color combinations work best, which stencils are easiest to use, which ingredients are easiest to apply, and which body adhesives dry out faster versus those that remain fresh for a long time.

There are many factors that determine the quality of your glitter tattoo kit. It’s not just about designing a nice looking packaging as there is a lot involved.

These guidelines apply to all our glitter tattoo kits. Some are manufactured by us and some are produced by other reputable companies. Because at the end of the day we aim to become your glitter tattoo store, offering you a wide variety of temporary tattoos for children and teenagers.

A. The beauty of glitter tattoos is that they are so simple to create that literally anyone can do it, yet the results are so beautiful, professional and creative. All you have to do is choose the tattoo stencil or design you like, remove the adhesive part of the stencil and place it flat on the skin. For best results, it is recommended to clean the skin first using alcohol or other skin-cleaning solution. Once the stencil is in place, apply a thin layer of body adhesive (hypoallergenic body glue) peel off the top protective film of the stencil and wait for about 30 seconds for the body adhesive to dry and become clear (transparent). Design your tattoo by applying the glitters using the small cosmetic brush and remove any excess glitter with the big cosmetic brush. To eliminate any glitter on the floor, simply remove the excess glitter above a napkin or small trash bin. All the items needed are included in your kit for multiple beautiful, glamorous and creative glitter tattoos so you don’t need to purchase any additional accessories to complete the look.

Last step: Enjoy your new glitter tattoo and show it off. Remember that children's tattoos are temporary – so if you didn’t like your creation, simply remove it with lotion and try again.

A. Our glitter tattoo products are toxic free, hypoallergenic and safe for the skin. We don’t recommend applying any glitter (or anything else for that matter) on irritated skin or on an area with a cut or bruise. We also don’t promote application of any glitter in or around the eyes, especially with kids tattoos. But other than that, our temporary tattoos are completely safe and hypoallergenic.

The following are the safety procedures conducted by GlitZGlam:

Our glitter tattoo products have gone through extensive specialized testing by a certified third-party laboratory for any trace of materials or ingredients that could be hazardous (such as lead and phthalates) especially for children. We have tested every single elements in our kits from the glitters and body adhesive to the brushes, containers and packaging materials. Even the paint on the brushes handles was scraped and tested for any form of unsafe ingredients. Our products are CPSIA certified (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) and are absolutely safe to apply on the skin.

But we didn’t stop there. We have also tested our glitter tattoo products for any form of allergic reactions (HRIPT.) The Human Repeat Insult Patch Test is a clinical and safety study conducted over a period of several months where the products are tested and retested on a large number of participants of various ages, ethnicities and skin types. Any possible reactions are carefully measured and recorded. The results of our testing were 100% negative and not a single participant has experienced any form of discomfort, redness, itchiness or any allergic response to the products.

In addition, the products were fully evaluated by clinical dermatologists and deemed truly hypoallergenic.

A. The glitter tattoos should last 3-7 days depending on skin type and maintenance and are generally waterproof. That means showers and even a prolonged bath won’t take them off. Just pat dry after spending time in the water. While in the shower or bath, try not to scrub the glitter tattoo too harshly as it will shorten its lifespan.

A. To remove the glitter tattoo, simply use an alcohol swab or oil based products and soak the glitter tattoo area for few minutes. After soaking, gently scrub the glitter tattoo with a damp towel and it should easily come off. Please don’t scratch the children tattoos as you might irritate the skin. Instead, just use any lotion and the kids' tattoos will come right off.

A. Each party is individually planned, as the requirements for personnel and product line vary according to the type of event, age of attendees, location, and size. For example: a small birthday party for a young child may take place at a park or backyard with 10–15 guests. Such an event typically requires one tattoo artist and a limited number of stencils. On the other hand, a large corporate event may require a specially designed booth with a team of three artists and a wide collection of stencils, along with additional services such as face painting and glitter nails. We recommend simply contacting us for exact pricing. Rest assured that whether your party is small or large, we provide amazing tattoo artists and highly competitive prices that fit every budget.

A. Yes. Many of our products are available at our kiosks located in local malls as well as at selected retailers across the country. You may find GlitZGlam temporary tattoo products in select toy stores, party supply stores and hotels. Some of our children's tattoo products are also available on Amazon.com and eBay.com. Product pricing is almost the same at all locations with minor variations. For example, Amazon may offer discounted shipping to qualified customers, eBay may run weekend sales, and GlitZGlamBodyArt.com may feature special promotions from time to time.
